Process for reinforcing soils, layers of land or roads using glass threads

A coating for road surfaces consists of a first layer of mineral granules or hydrocarbon material followed by a layer of glass fibres of average diameter above 5mm coated with an antistatic material selected from quaternary ammonium compounds. The fibres are distributed uniformly over the surface area before a second layer of material similar to that of the first layer.
