The analyser includes an electric motor (68) which drives one shaft (54) directly and another (52) by a belt (66) and pulleys (62,64). The two shafts have two further eccentrically mounted pulleys (48,50). A laser beam (70) is sampled at a section (60) end exits the analyser through a hole (74). A sampling wire is carried around the two eccentrically mounted pulleys and one side (56) sweeps the laser beam with a longitudinal and transverse motion. This reflects a part of the beam through an adjustable aperture (78), lens (88) and detector (90). |
