In these positions (2,2') the mechanism can be arranged to work with plate-feed components (7,8). It can also be arranged to eject plates from the printing mechanisms (3,4), and to hinge on the cylinder guard (5), on which the feed components can also be mounted. The guard can hinge on the press housing (6), the feed components swinging clear on opening the guard. The holder can be formed by a plate feed table (14), or by a magazine storing several plates.
