<p>The container comprises an inner shell (2) of metal to hold the liquefied gas, and an outer housing (7) of a synthetic material, which is made in two sections (13,14) joined together by couplings (15) which allow the two sections to be separated and the inner shell to be removed. The parting plane (16) between the two outer housing sections can be perpendicular to the container's lengthwise axis or, in a variant, parallel to it. The couplings can form a bayonet-type joint, threaded surfaces, tongued and grooved surfaces or other forms of connector.</p> |
