The plank has particularly an extruded open profile and is accessible for use on scaffolding. It has reinforcement ribs formed out of the underside of its base plate and the upper surface of the base plate is rough. The plank (10) on the face side is connected with a cross-sectionally closed box profile (36). The box profile has connecting devices (40) for fixture to a part of a scaffolding. At least two extruded profiles (12a) superimposed are arranged parallel to the reinforcement ribs (18,24), which on the face side over their entire width are connected with a box profile.
