The ski comprises a central section (2) with up-turned front (3) and rear ends, and incorporates a transmitter (5) with its rear end (50) situated adjacent to the front boot fastening (6), and its forward end (51) attached to the front part of the ski. The transmitted is attached to the ski by a full connector at one end and a partial connector with a shock absorber (8) at the other. The distance (d1) from the forward end of the front transmitter connector to the rear of the ski's contact section is such that the overall length (LCS) of the contact section is in ratio (LCS/d1 of 1.1 to 1.4 : 1). The distance (d2) from the front end of the ski boot (9) to the forward end of the front transmitter connector is between 250 and 400 mm.
