PURPOSE: To provide the layout processor which can array and arrange text items in an external frame in a specific shape by easy operation. CONSTITUTION: When the text items and layout information are inputted from an input part 1, an item position calculation part 5 divides the internal area of a specific figure (frame line in specific shape) included in the layout information inputted from the input part 1 into plural stages corresponding to the number of the text items, further divides each stage equally by the number of text items arranged in the stage, and calculates the arrangement positions (area) of the respective text items. A character size calculation part 6 and a decision part 7 calculates the number of lines and the character point number of the text items which can secure specific intervals between the respective text items arranged in the respective arrangement areas. Then those data are converted by a graphic data generation part 8 into image data, which are displayed on a display device 9. |
