MANUFACTURE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC ACOUSTIC TRANSDUCER

PURPOSE: To obtain a manufacture method for the electromagnetic acoustic transducer in which no characteristic change is caused by heating due to reflow soldering even when a wire is formed with a general use wire. CONSTITUTION: The electromagnetic acoustic transducer is provided with a magnetic drive section formed by winding a coil 24 to a magnetic core 22 erected upright to a base 20 and the height L3 of the coil 24 is set lower by a height L2 set higher by thermal expansion of the coil 24 at reflow soldering. Then the coil 24 is thermally expanded by applying heat treatment to the transducer to expand thermally the coil 24 thereby making its height optimum.
