PURPOSE: To provide an FRP cylinder and manufacture thereof capable of correctly effectively performing strength characteristics to be aimed without creating interlayers, and being given strength characteristics most suitable for respective parts in the cylindrical axis direction. CONSTITUTION: The FRP cylinder and manufacture thereof are such that it consists of resin reinforced by reinforcing fiber 3 constituted of continuous fibers, the winding angle A of the reinforcing fiber 3 at both end parts in the cylindrical axis direction is±80-90 deg., the winding angle B in its central portion is±5-20 deg., the winding angle in their intermediate regions varies gradually in from the winding angle A to the winding angle B, the wall thickness is tA (large) at both the ends and tB (small) at its central part, and the wall thickness tC varies gradually in their intermediate regions. |
