PURPOSE: To improve a packaging stage and high-pressure steam sterilizing stage for blood bags in order to provide sterile assurance of the blood bag surfaces. CONSTITUTION: This method consists of 1, a stage for hermetically sealing the blood bag into a transparent synthetic resin packaging bag having steam permeability, 2, a stage for sterilizing the packaging bag with high-pressure steam, 3, a stage for drying the water drops generated in the packaging bag and 4, a stage for packaging the packaging bag further into a packaging container without having steam permeability. As a result, the contamination of the surface of the blood bag by adhesion of bacteria, etc., is entirely obviated and the sterile assurance is made possible. |
