SURFACE MOUNTED CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR

PURPOSE: To obtain a seated oscillator capable of increasing the strength of fixing between a lead wire and a terminal plate, improving shock resistance and surely preventing the generation of separation. CONSTITUTION: In the seated crystal oscillator consisting of a crystal oscillator with a lead wire 3 led out of the bottom of a base and a surface mounting seat base fixed to the bottom of the crystal oscillator, the seat base has an insulator 7 having a slit 6, a pair of terminal plates 8 exposed to the outer periphery crossing the inside of the slit 6 and a conical through hole 11 formed on the intra-slit center part of the plates 8 (provided that the diameter of the through hole itself is larger than that of the lead wire), and the lead wire 3 of the crystal oscillator is inserted into the through hole 11 and joined with both the front and rear of the through hole 11 by applying solder 10 from the outer surface side of the through hole 11.
