<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a copied image with high resolution and excellent durability by using developer excellent in fixing ability at low temperature and thermal preservation stability. CONSTITUTION: In this image forming method, the one-component developer 6 is carried to a developing part opposed to an image carrier 1 by a developer carrier 3 while forming the developer 6 into a thin layer by an elastic regulating member 14 abutted on the developer carrier 3, and a latent image formed on the image carrier 1 is developed. The developer 6 is toner containing at least binder resin and colorant, and the binder resin has molecular weight distribution having at least one or more maximum values in gel permeation chromatography, in which the peak molecular weight is >=4000 and <=10000, and components having <=1000 molecular weight are <5wt.%.</p> |
