<p>PURPOSE: To easily provide a printed-board-mounted socket having an arbitrary number of poles as required by providing a connection point projecting from one side of a rectangular-solid-shaped socket main body, and receptacles on at least two sides other than that side. CONSTITUTION: A connection point 12 is provided on the first side of a rectangular-solid-shaped socket main body 11 in such a way as to project from the side. Receptacles 13 connected to the connection point 12 through a circuit are provided, one on a second side facing the first side, and the other on a third side adjacent the second side. A recessed locking portion 14 is provided on a fourth side, and a projecting locking portion 15 shaped to be locked into the locking portion 14 is provided on a fifth side facing the fourth side. A printed-board-mounted block socket 10 is thus constructed by coupling the single- structure main bodies 11 together in a line by a number equal to that of the leads of components. The functions of a circuit can thus be expanded or modified readily without requiring the modification of the printed board.</p> |
