CONSTITUTION: An outline font device 2 is provided with a calculation part 2a obtaining the tangent and a normal of an outline, a straight line complement part 2b complementing in the connective direction when a corner is separated, a paint out check part 2c checking whether or not white is painted out, a thickness mode flag part 2d holding a method thickening, a Berzier development part 2e linearly approximating the Berzier curve, a straight line development part 2f dropping the straight line to respective dots, an area calculation part 2g obtaining an area painted in black, a paint-out part 2h painting out inside the outline, a centroid calculation part 2i obtaining centroid, an inclusion relation check part 2j checking an inclusion relation, an outline font data part 2k corresponding to a character code and a development buffer part 2m developing a font, and a thick character with excellent quality can be produced. |
