PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a pearl essence and a gloss of a composite film acceptor in a subbing layer for a microvoided composite film acceptor to be used as a support for a dye receiving element. SOLUTION: In the dye receiving element for thermal dye transfer containing a base having a dye image receiving layer thereon, the base contains a composite film laminated on a support. The layer is disposed at the film side of the base, and the film contains a microvoided thermoplastic core layer and one substantially void-free thermoplastic surface layer. The surface layer is disposed adjacent to the receiving layer, and there is a subbing layer between the surface layer and the receiving layer, and the subbing layer contains a gelatin and a titanium dioxide. |
