LID STRUCTURE OF FUEL INLET

PURPOSE: To provide a lid structure of a fuel inlet installed at a fuel supply opening of a vehicle with a sufficient opening degree and prevents painting defects on painting the vehicle body and further, reduces the material and processing cost. CONSTITUTION: In a lid structure of a fuel inlet of a vehicle in which the lid body 3 of fuel inlet is pivotted on the vehicle body so as to be freely opened, a hinge axis 6 is inserted in respective pivot support pieces of a reinforcement 4 and a hinge bracket 5 to rotatably connect the lid body 3 of fuel inlet to the hinge bracket 5. A deformed insertion hole is bored in the pivot support piece of the reinforcement 4 or the hinge bracket 5 and the hinge axis 6 is inserted in respective pivot support pieces of the reinforcement 4 and the hinge bracket 5. After that, the hinge axis 6 is caulked and fixed in the deformed insertion hole.
