PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power operation-type hedge trimming assembly where the cutter teeth of a reciprocative cutter blade are provided with shearing tooth segments and a sawing tooth segment and also by which the both of a single stroke shearing action and a multi-stroke sawing action are simultaneously executed. SOLUTION: The cutter blade 16 is reciptocatively moved by a motor as against a stationary combing blade 14. A double-blade segment 160 is provided with a series of cutter teeth 170 being orthogonal with a longitudinal direction axis ans the respective cutter teeth are provided with the shearing tooth cutter formed along the both side edges and the sawing tooth segment formed between the shearing tooth segments. A series of combing teeth 222 are provided in the both edges in the combing blade segment so as to cut a plant growth part with the shearing tooth segments during the one-time stroke of the blade 16. The sawing tooth segment saws and cuts the thick platn growth part during the plural-time strokes of the blade 16.
