PURPOSE: To allow high operation speed even to a soft-twist yarn. CONSTITUTION: A spindle 22 is placed under a roller 33 at the outlet-side of a drafting apparatus 30 in such a manner as to position the axial line 21 of the spindle 22 along a tangential line T tangentially contacting with the roller 33 positioned perpendicular to the spindle 22 and parallel to the axial line 21 while keeping a gap A of <=3 mm from the line T. The winding zone B of the spindle 22 reaches a nip point P between the roller 33 and a counter roller 33a placed opposite to the roller keeping a minimum gap H of >40-70 mm from the nip point P. There is no yarn guide restricting the tip end of the balloon of a yarn 6 between the apparatus 20 and the drafting apparatus 30 and the angleβbetween the axial line 21 and the fiber flow of the drafting apparatus is 30-50 deg..
