PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition containing a whey protein peptide and lactose as main components, good in flavor, and useful as a raw material for medicines, drinks and foods, especially for drinks, foods, transintestinal nutrients, etc., requiring the prevention of allergens, such as milk or sport beverages. CONSTITUTION: This whey protein peptide composition from which the bitter taste of the whey protein peptide is masked and is improved in the flavor contains 1 pt.wt. of the whey protein peptide and 1-20 pts.wt. of lactose as main components. The allergens in the whey protein peptide are reduced, and the whey protein peptide exhibits the antigenicity in only <=1/1000 that of β- lactoglobulin. |
