PURPOSE: To improve startability and operability by opening an intake control valve at the starting time, and closing it when a cooling water temperature is a specified value or more after starting. CONSTITUTION: An intake port 46 communicated with an internal combustion engine 2 is branched to form a first and second pintake ports 48, 50. Fuel is injected from a fuel injection valve through communication passages 56, 58 communicated respectively therewith. An intake control valve 52 is provided on an upstream side of a fuel injection portion of the second intake port 50. When a controlling program is started at the starting of the internal combustion engine 2, determination is executed after starting. When it is the starting condition, the intake control valve 52 is closed. After 30 seconds from the starting, for instance, the valve is shifted to an opening condition. At this time, the water temperature is judged whether it is nor less than a specified value (about 70 deg.C) or not. When it is No, the intake control valve 52 is shifted to opening state. When it is YES, the valve is shifted to a closing state. |
