PURPOSE: To improve the adaptability of a planetary selvage-forming apparatus to loom setting work compared with conventional loom. CONSTITUTION: An end part of a bracket 13 supporting a shaft 11 of a rotary gear 31 having a planetary gear is revolvably installed to a driving shaft 9 of a driving gear rotating the rotary gear 31 and an attached locking unit 2 enables the bracket 13 to be locked at a revolving position in weaving. The planetary selvage-forming apparatus is revolved onto the weaving position to perform normal actions in' a state locked at the position with the locking unit 2 in weaving, while the planetary selvage-forming apparatus is revolved to a setting position to offer a wide space above the planetary selvage-forming apparatus in loom setting. |
