ANGIOTENSIN-CONVERTING ENZYME-INHIBITING AGENT-CONTAINING MATERIAL OBTAINED FROM BASIDIOMYCETES

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject inhibitor-containing material soluble in an aqueous solvent and especially useful as a hypotensive agent or a food for vasodepressor from a fruit body or mycelium of edible Basidiomycetes. CONSTITUTION: This inhibitor-containing material comprises a fruit body or mycelium of Lyophyllum ulmarium and Flammulina velutipes or a material obtained by subjecting the fruit body or mycelium to extraction treatment in a polar solvent for 10min to 12hr or a homogenized material obtained by homogenizing the fruit body or mycelium by strong stirring or extracted solution consisting essentially of water-soluble protein after removing the residue by centrifugal separation or a material obtained by further concentrating or drying the extracted solution. When the material is used as a medicine, the material can orally or parenterally be administered and when the material is used as a food, a peptide can directly be added or be used together with other food (ingredient).
