PURPOSE: To obtain a highly reliable recording device which can previously prevent a static damage in an electric circuit and the like. CONSTITUTION: An ink cartridge 1 is provided with a recording head part 130 and an ink tank part 31. The recording head part 130 is provided with a head terminal part 130a. A cable 204 supplying recording information to the recording head part 130 is connected to a cartridge 201 which can mount the ink cartridge 1. The end part of the cable 204 is fixed to the cartridge 201 by a cable depressing board 203 as a discharge member. A cable terminal part 204a exposed from the window 203a of the cable depressing board 203 corresponds to the head terminal part 130a and they can be connected.
