PURPOSE: To arrange a shielding plate made of a curved surface plate formed along the wall surface of a light-transmitting sealed container inside the sealed container having an infrared ray reflecting film and a globular expanded part on the tip side, and set a filament in a specified position to enhance efficiency and life of a lamp. CONSTITUTION: A globular part 1b or rotating ellipse body which is an expanded part whose center is positioned on an axis 1a is formed on the tip side of a glass bulb 1 which is a light transmitting sealed container of a halogen electric bulb 5, and an optional, shape part 1c is formed on the base end side. A visible light transmitting infrared ray reflecting film is formed on the outer surface or the inner surface of the bulb 1, and a shielding plate 10 made of curved surface plate formed along the warm surface or the expanded part 1b us set inside the bulb 1. A first luminescent filament 2 on the axis 1a is set so that the virtual image is formed in 0.5-1D position in the outer diameter D direction from the globular center of the shielding plate 10 or a focus of the rotating ellipse body. The whole of infrared rays from the filament 2 is reflected to enhance lamp efficiency, and unevenness of the reflecting amount of the infrared rays is eliminated by the shielding plate 10 and life is lengthened.
