PURPOSE: To provide a collimator lens holder excellent in dimensional stability which can be produced at a low cost with high productivity and can respond for any complicated shape, by constituting the collimator lens holder of a resin. CONSTITUTION: A collimator lens holder to hold a collimator lens consists of a resin. The resin used for the collimator lens holder is a thermoplastic reinforced resin having >=18GPa bending rigidity and <=1.5×10<-5> / deg.C and <=4.0×10<-5> / deg.C coeffts. of linear expansion in the oriented direction and the perpendicular direction to that, respectively, in the temp. range from 10 to 40 deg.C. Further, the thermoplastic reinforced resin consists of a resin compsn. containing 30-70wt.% thermoplastic resin having >=60 deg.C glass transition temp. (Tg), 28-68wt.% inorg. fiber, and 1-8wt.% org. fiber and 1-30wt.% whisker. The thermoplastic resin is polyphenylene sulfide, and the org. fiber is para-linked aramid fiber or imide fiber. |
