PURPOSE: To obtain the subject water surface floating spreadable granule, being readily treated and not damaging an operator and an environment. CONSTITUTION: This water surface spreadable agrochemical granular agrochemical preparation is obtained by supporting an active ingredient of an agrochemical on a water surface floating granule nucleus selected from foamed perlite, foamed silas, cork and a granulated material containing them and blending the active ingredient with a water surface spreader such as an acetylene-based surfactant, a silicone-based surfactant or a fluorine-based surfactant and an emulsion dispersant containing at least one glucose residue in a molecular structure, not damaging spreading power of the water surface spreader. An acylated starch, dextrin, a mono- or oligoglucose made into a hydrocarbon is preferable as the emulsion dispersant and the amount of it added is preferably 0.3-10%. The amount of the water surface dispersant is preferably 0.3-5%. Since the granule in the preparation is spared on the water surface and the active ingredient is rapidly emulsified and dispersed in water, the preparation can prevent uneven distribution of the active ingredient caused by approach by wind or insufficient spreading. |
