PURPOSE: To provide a photo-acoustic absorption meter which can decrease the influence of sound noises. CONSTITUTION: An intermittent light beam is cast on a resonance tube 12, and intermittent sounds generated by absorption of the light beam by a specimen to be measured placed in the resonance tube 12 are sensed so that analysis of the specimen is conducted. In this photo-acoustic absorption meter, an acoustic resonance filter means 33 of sound absorption type to absorb sounds of resonant wavelength of the tube 12 is furnished in a suction path (suction tube 31) which introduces the specimen into the tube 12, and noises of the wavelength resonating by the resonance tube are removed by this filter means 33, and thereby infulence of the acoustic noises is decreased. |
