摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oscillator which introduces a phase adjustment interval that is shorter than a reference clock interval of an oscillator. SOLUTION: A digital controlled oscillator(DCO) 810 which has edge delay oscillators 100 and 200 which generate a digital oscillation pulse that has a front edge and a rear edge in response to a digital clock pulse responds to a delay signal and delays one of the front edge or the rear edge of an oscillator pulse. This method that reduces a phase adjustment interval of a digital output signal creates a 1st digital pulse string that has a front edge and a rear edge in an almost prescribed frequency and generates a 2nd digital pulse string whose phase is deviated from the 1st digital pulse string (delayed only by 1/2 interval of a prescribed frequency) and which has a front edge and a rear edge in an almost prescribed frequency. A digital output signal is created by combining the 2nd digital pulse signal having a pulse that is undergone edge delay and the 1st digital pulse string.
