PURPOSE: To provide an electrostatic recorder which is easy for maintenance and capable of suppressing harmful effects by ozone at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: The ozone generated in an electrostatic charger 2, etc., is guided into a carrying tube 20a for carrying image forming material 5 removed from the surface of an image carrier 1 by a brush 11 through ozone carrying tubes 31a to 31c, and then, mixed. The image forming material 5 is provided with a function of adsorbing, or decomposing the ozone, so that the ozone is adsorbed, or decomposed at a low cost without installing a special ozone adsorbing, or decomposing means, and the quantity of the ozone discharged outside the device is drastically reduced. |
