The fabrication procedure of a housing ring or frame involves forming a design model (1) in a first metal and at least partially covering it with a second metal (6) by an electroforming process. The later is applied while protecting the parts of the basic model which are not to be coated. The coated design model is then subjected to a mechanical forming process.
