The window, door or similar has an outer arch frame, to which is fixed a panel or pane frame, which is pivotable and/or tippable, via fixtures. The side rails of both frames comprise fully profiled frame profiles (2) cut at both ends and the corner connections are formed by two angularly abutting frame profiles with inner-engaging tenons (16). The tenons of the frame profiles of the two frames exclusively extend over the central core area located between the stops (7). The distances of the core areas from the inner and outer surfaces (18,19) of the frame profiles are equal and the number of tenons of one side of each frame side rails is odd.
