Shading process for joint mortar and other joint compositions, and a two-component joint mortar

The invention relates to a tinting process for joint mortar and similar joint compositions, and to a joint mortar consisting of two components for the purpose of implementing the process. One of the components of the joint mortar is a grey or white basal composition 2 which contains cement and lime filler. The other component is a toning solution 4 which is stored in a separate vessel 3 and which contains a plastic dispersion, water and paint paste, which is added to the toning machine 5 according to choice. When the joint mortar is being made, the toning solution and the water are firstly mixed with each other and the basal composition dose 2 is metered and admixed with this solution. <IMAGE>
