[Class 58] Soya bean flour is raised to a temperature between 90 and 150‹C. and maintained at this temperature without reducing its moisture content below 4 per cent. until its objectionable flavour is removed. A portion of the flour may be treated with ammonia and added to the rest of the flour before the heating, or ammonia may be added during the heating treatment. |
