<p>PURPOSE: To improve the usability by allocating signal terminals, allocated to function operating means in operation stop states, as signal terminals of other function operation means according to setting information. CONSTITUTION: This LSI is provided with an operation stop setting means 20001 which consists of registers, input terminals, etc., and sets whether a display control means 1003 is effective (ready to operate) or ineffective (stopped from operating), an operation stop means 2003 which makes the input operation clock signal of the control means 1003 effective or ineffective according to the setting of the setting means 2001, etc. Then the operation stopping means 2003 stops some function operating means from operating according to the information set by the setting means 2001 and terminal switching means 2008-2001 allocate signal terminals, allocated to the function operation means in the operation stop states, as signal terminals of other function operating means. Consequently, plural function means incorporated in the information processing LSI 1101 can selectively be used with ease.</p> |
