PURPOSE: To properly manage the amounts of mediums in the whole system neither too much nor too less. CONSTITUTION: The amounts of mediums in paying-in/out cashboxes 13A to 13D built in an automatic transaction device are monitored. When the cashbox 13C reaches a replenishment starting amount, a replenishment instruction is generated. When the amount of a medium stored in a replenishing and recovering cashbox 21 itself is insufficient, the cashbox 21 recovers the medium from the cashbox 13B storing an amount more than a necessary replenishment amount as an excess amount and replenishes the recovered amount to the cashbox 13C. When the amount recovered from only one paying-in/out cashbox is less than the amount to be replenished to the cashbox 13C, the necessary replenishment amount of the medium is recovered from plural paying-in/out cashboxes and stored in the relevant cashbox 13C. |
