PURPOSE: To form a long orifice in a vibration control device in which an outer cylinder is resin-molded. CONSTITUTION: A recess 18 and a small recess are formed in the outer periphery of a columnar elastic body 16 and a groove for connecting the recess 18 to the small recess is formed. A resin inflow preventing cover 30 is inserted into the elastic body 16 in the axial direction to cover the recess 18, small recess and groove 22 so as to form a main liquid chamber 34, auxiliary liquid chamber, and orifice 36. These are loaded in a mold and a melted synthetic resin is injected. The synthetic resin is bonded to the outer peripheries of the elastic body 16 and resin inflow preventing cover 30 to mold an outer cylinder 12 integrated with the elastic body 16 and cover 30. Then, a specified liquid is injected inside thereof. Since the outer peripheral surface of the elastic body 16 can be freely used in this constitution, length of the orifice can be freely increased and a damping factor can be enhanced. |
