PURPOSE: To provide a vehicular automatic transmission control device for converging input shaft rotational frequency extremely rapidly within a specific range and improving the riding comfortableness agreeably. CONSTITUTION: Processing starts when an up shift is instructed. First, input shaft torque Tt of an automatic transmission is estimated (101), and initial duty d1(n) of an electromagnetic valve for driving a clutch of the automatic gear changer by a formula d1(n)=dr(n-1)+g.(Tt-Ttr(n-1)) is operated (103). The duty ratio d of the electromagnetic valve is feed back controlled such that rate of changeΔNt of the input shaft rotational frequency Nt of the automatic gear changer corresponds to a desired value in present routine (107-113) and dr(n-1), Ttr-(n-1) is a value of d, Tt stored when a previousΔNt corresponded to the desired value (115). The g is a factor sequentially learned and corrected (117). Since the above formula is based on an agreeable line relationship among theΔNt, Tt, and transmission torque of the clutch (proportional to d), d is rapidly converged. |
