PURPOSE: To attain cost-down by permitting two kinds of ROM which are the configuration elements of a level generating circuit which are respectively provided in the eight-phase level waveform generation circuits of I-phase and Q-phase of a star-type 16 QAM waveform generation circuit and also where a band limit waveform is stored to be one kind so as to shorten time required for preparing ROM. CONSTITUTION: A component waveform which is band-limited with a 1/4 rate level is stored in ROM 5' and 6'. The star-type 16 QAM waveform generation circuit is constituted in such a way that a threefold data generation circuit 7 where the output of ROM 5' is tripled is provided, the output of the threefold data generation circuit 7 and the output of ROM 6' are temporarily stored in registers 8 and 9, they are added and combined in an adder 10 and, then, an output is executed after temporary storage in the register 11. |
