<p>PURPOSE: To perform a data input by a simple operation; which visually and sensuously correspond to input items without the necessity of performing a keyboard operation in which a numerical key or a character key is arrayed, in a data input device such as an electronic pocketbook, etc. CONSTITUTION: When the date input processing accompanying the input of schedule data is performed, a date input board X, in which a desired 'years and months' calendar screen is extended, is made to be displayed and the 'date' data based on the calendar screen is inputted and displayed as the date (a) of a schedule by the touch operation of the date on a date input board X. When a time input processing is performed, a time input board Y composed of each clock image screen of 'hour' and 'minute' is displayed, and the 'hour, minute and AM/PM' data based on the clock image screen is inputted and displayed as the time (b) of the schedule by the touch operations of the hour key 22a, the minute key 22b and AM/PM keys 22d/22e on the time input board Y.</p> |
