PURPOSE: To prevent an illegal, ride by comparing the pattern of recorded entrance and exit data with previously stored standard patterns of entrance and exit, and deciding the use style of the commutation ticket. CONSTITUTION: An entrance/exit data recording means M repeatedly record entrance/exit data in plural entrance/exit data recording parts, provided on a commutation ticket C inserted into an insertion slot 1, in order at each time of entering or exiting. Magnetic heads H1 -H3 compares the pattern of entrance and exit data recorded by the entrance exit data recording means M with the previously stored standard patterns of entrance and exit, and decides whether or not the commutation ticket C is normally used on the basis of the use style, i.e., past entrance and exit data records of the commutation ticket C. Consequently, an illegal ride made without paying for the middle part of the ride and a ride after expiration of effective using time can effectively be prevented. |
