<p>PURPOSE: To realize pure music selecting operation without generating the erroneous decision even though the contact pressure between a tape and a magnetic head is reduced at the time of high speed searching operation and also to attain the low power consumption. CONSTITUTION: When a tape mechanism is operated for high speed search, signals passed through the magnetic heads 2a, 2b and equalizing amplifiers 3a, 3b are compared with a prescribed voltage value of a reference voltage source 9a by each comparator 8a, 8b to output when the outputs of the equalizing amplifiers 3a, 3b are larger than the prescribed voltage value and not to output when they are smaller than the prescribed voltage value. Only when the outputs of the comparators 8a, 8b simultaneously become none, the decision is made as no music part by a deciding means 10a to output to a timer circuit 12. When the output of the deciding means 10a is continued for longer than the set time at the timer circuit 12, it is outputted to a control means 11 from the timer circuit 12, and the high speed searching operation of the tape mechanism 1 is changed over to the normal reproducing operation by the control means 11.</p> |
