NETWORK TERMINATION UNIT OF ISDN

摘要

The apparatus for combining telephone functions of network terminal equipment(NTE) and ISDN includes a NTE(3), a S-interface(5), and a power supply(6). The NTE includes an U-interface(31) and a S-interface(33) connected to the U-interface through a ISDN oriented module(IOM) bus. The S-interface(5) includes a codec(56) performing voice communication, and a processor(51) controlling ISDN level 3 and call. The power supply includes a normal power supply(62) providing +40 V to the S-interface, a network power supply providing +5 V to the NTE, and a switch(63) switching the normal power to the NTE in emergency.
