PURPOSE: To enable writing with a water-color ink on the surface of an information recording medium by forming the recording medium having a surface layer containing at least a filler, UV-curing resin, reaction initiator, and hydrophilic polymer. CONSTITUTION: This recording medium is obtd. by forming a recording layer 3 containing dyes on a substrate 2 and successively forming a reflecting layer, protective layer 5 and surface layer 6 thereon. Further, an auxiliary layer such as a base coating layer 7 may be formed between the substrate 2 and the recording layer 3. The surface layer consists of a UV-curing resin, filler, reaction initiator, hydrophilic polymer and the like. As for the unifunctional or polyfunctional monomers or oligomers used for the UV-curing resin, the following compds. and structural formulae are used. They are tetrahydrofurfrylacrylate, ethylcarbitol acrylate, dicyclopentyl oxyacrylate, phenylcarbitol acrylate, etc. |
