PURPOSE: To provide a toner removing device where instantaneous power consumption by plural heating lamps is restrained to be equal to or under a specified value and where the temperature of the upper and the lower heating rollers of a toner peeling unit and that of the heating drum of a drying unit reaches a usable temperature nearly at the same time. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a thermistor which detects the temperature of the upper and the lower heating rollers 45 and 46 incorporating the heating lamps 45a and 46a and that of the heating drum 61 incorporating the heating lamp 61, and a control part which divides control reference time T into three control time zones T45 , T46 and T61 corresponding to the respective heating lamps at a specified rate and on/off controls the respective heating lamps in the control time zones based on the result of comparing the detected temperature of the rollers 45 and 46 and the drum 61 with ycontrol target temperature. The rate of dividing the time into the control time zones may be corrected based on a temperature difference between the detected temperature and the control target temperature. |
