PURPOSE: To instantaneously show the state of transaction processing with another bank that has been carried out by an automatic machine in an all-bank on-line system to a user without making any inquiry to the original bank of the transaction. CONSTITUTION: A user 100 puts a B bank card 12 into an automatic machine 11 of an A1 branch 10 of an A bank and designates the payment of cash, for instance. At the same time, the card information and a payment amount are recorded on an other-bank file 14. The payment processing is carried out at a B bank center 40 of an original payer bank via an A bank center 20 and an all-bank center 30. The processing result is sent back to the A1 branch 10 via the centers 30 and 20 and then recorded on the file 14. When the cash 13 is paid through the machine 11, the cash payment result is also recorded on the file 14. When an inquiry is received from the user 100, the contents of the file 14 are shown on the display screen of the machine 11. |
