PURPOSE: To simplify key operation in the case of registering plural units of the same merchandise by registered numerical data as the number of selling points of a selling merchandise at the time of inputting a merchandise code for the selling merchandise immediately after registering the numerical data by a register key. CONSTITUTION: A register work area to be a numerical data storing means for temporarily storing numerical data registered by a register key is formed on a RAM 12. When a merchandise code of a selling merchandise is read out by a scanner 4 immediately after registering numerical data by a certain register key, the registered numerical data stored in the register work area are set up as the number of selling points of the selling merchandise and multiplication registering processing for regarding a sales amount as an amount obtained by multiplying the numerical data by a unit price corresponding to the read and inputted merchandise code is executed. Thereby a feeling of complexity can be removed from key operation for registering plural units of the same merchandise, operability can be improved and operator's load can be reduced. |
