PURPOSE: To enable a navigation device for vehicle to accurately guide a vehicle even when a crossroads having a complicate shape exists by adding auxiliary road guiding information data to the guidance about the crossroads. CONSTITUTION: An information storing device 3 stores auxiliary road guiding information data and the guidance control means of a central processing unit 4 reads out the data about a crossroads which exists in front of the present location of its own vehicle and requires guidance from the data about the route being guided stored in the storing device 3 when the present location of the vehicle detected by means of a present location detector 2 exists on the route being guided calculated by means of a route calculating means (CPU) 40. In addition, a discriminating means which discriminates whether or not auxiliary road guiding information data are to be added to the guidance about a crossroads requiring guidance is provided and, when the discriminating means discriminates that the auxiliary road guiding information data must be added to the guidance, the auxiliary data are added to the guidance about the crossroads and the guidance is outputted to an outputting means 1. |
