PURPOSE: To ensure a long pot life of a coating soln. and to produce an electrophotographic photoreceptor preventing the occurrence of voids or black spots, fogging, the lowering of density and transfer memory. CONSTITUTION: When a middle layer and a photosensitive layer are laminated on an electrically conductive substrate to obtain an electrophoto-graphic photoreceptor, the middle layer is formed with a material contg. a metallic chelate compd. of Ti or Al having the chelate group of acetoacetic ester orβ-diketone and an alkoxy group and a silane coupling agent having org. functional groups represented by the formula as terminal groups. The objective electrophotographic photoreceptor is obtd. and the objective electrophotographic device using this photoreceptor is provided.
