PURPOSE: To provide a joint for shower head which is easily attachable and detachable, and improved so that no excessive stress act on a seal member such as O-ring. CONSTITUTION: A joint 1 for attaching and detaching a shower head to and from a hot water and water feed port in a single operation has a cylindrical socket 12 having a tangential slit 18 in the middle part; an elastic pin 19 exhibiting an elastic force to the inside of the socket within the slit; and a cam surface 25 engaged with the part exposed to the outer circumference of the socket of the pin to displace the pin outward by its own axial displacement. It also has a slide 13 slidingly installed to the outer circumferential surface of the socket, and a plug 2 capable of being inserted to the socket and having an annular groove 9 capable of being engaged with the part facing the inside of the socket of the pin at the insertion. |
