PURPOSE: To obtain a laminated magnetic shielding body which makes the used amount of precious metal foil smaller than that of an oxide superconducting composition and has a light weight and high magnetic shielding ability. CONSTITUTION: In a laminated magnetic shielding body 10 in which a plurality of layers of precious metal foil 12 carrying superconducting material layers 11 on one surfaces is laminated, rolled, and baked, the ratio of the total thickness of the superconductive material layers 11 to the total thickness of the foil 12 is adjusted to 0.5-1.4 and the thickness of one foil 12 is set at 90μm. A magnetic shielding material is formed by closely arranging composite laminated magnetic shielding bodies 15,..., 15 in the laminating direction and sticking the bodies 15,..., 15 to each other with a bonding agent composed of an epoxy resin, etc. |
